UHPLC Column, RP PFP, 1.8um, 100A. 4.6mm ID x 50mm Length. Cogent Brand. 1 EA.
Additional Info:
The 68122‑05P Cogent RP PFP™ UHPLC Column is designed for enhanced selectivity of halogenated, aromatic, and polar compounds, providing improved resolution where conventional C18 phases may not fully differentiate analytes.
This stationary phase uses a pentafluorophenyl (PFP) ligand bonded via a four‑carbon linker to high‑purity silica with full double end‑capping, delivering multiple interaction mechanisms including π‑π interactions, dipole interactions, and hydrogen bonding. These combined interactions allow for greater selectivity control and improved separation of structurally similar compounds.
This column is well suited for USP L43 methods and as an alternative phase for new method development requiring different retention behavior.
50 mm Length – Fast Analytical Screening & Throughput
The 50 mm length is optimized for rapid separations and method screening, making it ideal for high‑throughput analytical workflows.
Short run times and faster gradients
Efficient selectivity evaluation
Reduced solvent consumption
✅ Use when reducing run time while maintaining resolution is a priority
Flow Rate & System Requirements (4.6 mm ID, 1.8 µm)
⚠️ Requires UHPLC system capability due to high backpressure
Typical flow rate range: ~1.0–2.0 mL/min
Optimal starting range: ~1.2–1.5 mL/min
Requires high‑pressure system stability
Standard analytical flow detector compatible
✅ Sample preparation requirement: filter samples using a 0.2 µm syringe filter prior to injection
